About Us
Ukrainian Hearts are Beating in New Zealand
As you know, a devastating war has been tearing Ukraine apart over the past several months. We are a group of passionate volunteers born and raised in Ukraine but currently living in New Zealand. We are fortunate to be safe and live our normal lives, though our hearts break every day because of all the suffering that our fellow Ukrainians are going through. We admire their courage and strength and are doing our best to support them in their fight for freedom.
To date, the three of us have been actively participating in various fundraising events and peaceful protests. But the war continues, and our fight for our country's future continues. Given the scale of the devastating war in Ukraine, our support will be needed for many years to come. Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but, most importantly, in the actions of our initiatives. That is why we decided to launch Play for Ukraine and will continue working tirelessly to promote our cause and raise funds for the humanitarian projects in Ukraine.

Our Mission
Play Your Favourite Sport for a Great Cause
Our greatest passion is people's wellbeing, safety and peace. Our country has been brutally invaded, and people's basic rights for shelter, food and freedom have been violated. Since the times of the WWII, the world has not seen the level of devastation that Ukraine is experiencing right now. Ukrainians are strong and courageous, but without our help they will not survive.

Our mission is to raise funds to support Ukraine through organizing sport events around New Zealand. Play for Ukraine brings the best experience of your favourite sport and gives everyone the opportunity to express their support to the people of Ukraine. All the sport lovers will be able to enjoy their game and donate for the great cause.
